We at Adventura believe that everybody should go for a trekking at least once a year. Trekking is not only to hike and take pictures to post on social medias but is also an opportunity to gain an immense source of inspiration and learning. The benefit of trekking are many here are a few of them.

Activities like hiking and trekking have a result oriented therapeutic effect. Scientific research shows that It can help people over come depression, apart from the physical benefits of it. Trekking can also contribute to enhancing creative imagination as well as helping to lead a more active social life to those who have been socially aloof. Eventually, this experience help an individual to strengthen one’s social bonding and relationship, which results into living a happy life.

Fitness

Trekking between 4 to 6 hours a day burns many calories while drinking lots of water helps to purify the overall body. It is also effective for building up your legs and core strength, boosting your immune system, lowering your blood pressure and reducing the risk of heart disease and osteoporosis. Good sleep after physical exercise is another way of rejuvenating your body and mind and increase the serotonin level (happiness and dopamine cells).

Learning

Trekking is not only about walking for hours, but one can learn immensely if one can consciously observe environment and community around oneself at that time. Meeting new people along trails, walking together with people of completely different background will teach us how to cooperate with the team, act, and response.
